Oxfam is a global movement of people who won’t live with the injustice of poverty. Together we save lives and rebuild communities when disaster strikes. We help people build better lives for themselves. We speak out on the big issues that keep people poor, like inequality and discrimination against women.
And we won’t stop until every person on the planet can live without poverty.
Oxfam Ireland is an Irish charity which is part of the global movement of people working and campaigning together in over 90 countries around the world to end poverty and injustice. We're looking for dedicated people to join our team.
From saving lives and developing projects that put poor people in charge of their lives and livelihoods, to campaigning for change that lasts. That’s Oxfam in action. Oxfam also has around 50 shops in Ireland, supported by a team of over 2,000 volunteers, selling second-hand clothes, books, music and collectables, plus Fairtrade and eco gifts.
Working for Oxfam will open up the world to you in a way that no other single poverty charity can do and it will provide the opportunity to enrich your career across diverse programs and specialisms.
Joining Oxfam means:
- being a player in making major change inspirational;
- gaining the satisfaction that comes from creating a real difference in the world;
- working for a leader in the field that pursues best practice in all areas; and
- becoming part of a professional and friendly team united by commitment to a cause and shared values.
Our humanitarian, development and campaigning projects change lives around the world. Thousands of people already commit their time and talents to make this happen. Now we're looking for yours.
